Unit Dose repackaging automated robot

FILIPPO is the most innovative solution on the market for the creation of unit doses.
The fully automatic feeding system and internal controls guarantee minimum workload for the operators.
FILIPPO repackages the medications into unit dose sachets or envelopes automatically for any choice of primary packaging.
The sachets or envelopes are compatible with the most common market standards and have all the necessary information readable on the label (e.g. brand name, pharmaceutical form, active ingredient, lot, expiry date, unique identification barcode and any additional information on customer request).
The information of the single unit dose is stored in the information system guaranteeing at all times the complete management and traceability of the unit dose up to administration to the patient (closed loop medication).
FILIPPO also manages Specialty Drug already in “single-dose” format in the original packaging (when the secondary packaging contains a single dose, for example bottle or vial) with a solution that makes the management of these medications identical to the repackaged unit doses.

Autonomous system for the preparation of oral solid medications

ACCED is a complete and extremely compact solution for the automatic management of oral solid therapies in unit dose. ACCED can work in complete autonomy, even at night, for the preparation of unit doses by repackaging the loaded drugs. Upon receiving the prescriptions, ACCED dispenses the therapies by placing them into individual patients’ drawers.

ACCED can store up to 40,000 unit doses and set up therapies for 50 patients per hour.

MARIO is the solution that allows the automatic dispensing of patient therapies in unit dose format directly inside the medication carts.
The Robot can be installed in hospital wards or in a pharmacy. The prescriptions are transferred in real time by the prescription software; MARIO prepares the therapies immediately before the start of the administration rounds. The inventory of medicines stored within MARIO is constantly updated and on-time, including information regarding lot numbers and expiration dates. Based on stocks availability and necessary prescriptions MARIO automatically sends supply requests to the pharmacy; in this way the nurses are relieved of the logistical management of medicines. Installed directly in the wards, ASTUS allows the controlled storage and collection of medications in all forms. The Robot facilitates inventory management and allows traceability of the collection at each point of use: hospital wards, clinics, operating rooms, emergency room.

ASTUS is configurable according to the needs of the each department and has different levels of security. Autonomous, it communicates with the management software systems present in the healthcare provider facility, including prescription software. PIETRO is the complete, modular and integrated system designed for the management and traceability of disposable and implantable medical devices. The system is based on RFid technology: the items managed by the hospital are labeled with RFid tags that allow users to identify them without the need for contact or manipulation at any time during the hospital use, from acceptance to use on the patient.

The PIETRO system is composed of:

  • RFid cabinets for the storage of medical devices with automatic registration of stored and removed devices. The cabinets can be positioned in the operating room or in its surroundings;
  • RFid basket, for reading and “deactivating” the RFid labels placed on individual devices and / or packages and the consequent automatic recording of the consumed material associated to the patient;
